- 501 streetcar service will be replaced by buses west of Roncesvalles Ave. once again, starting in spring 2019, and continuing until early 2020. This is due to upcoming construction work on the King/Queen/Roncesvalles/Queensway intersection.
- While bus replacement service is in place, the TTC will be conducting a service review of 501 Queen and developing a revised service structure to improve reliability, adjust capacity to demand based on implementation of the new low-floor streetcars, and remove the transfer at Humber loop.
- The 501 service review will involve public engagement and SETAC will participate.
