The Star reporter Henry Stancu recently spoke to Ward 3,5, and 6 residents about their transit concerns: “Etobicoke residents say the TTC’s ‘Better Way’ could be a whole lot better.”
Transit riders weighed in with their gripes, calling for better coordination of route transfer times, increased off-peak bus service, and the elimination of streetcar bunching.
Residents also called for more infrastructure, from subways to streetcars to buses – “more of everything” in the words of one rider. Better and more reliable accessibility was another concern.
How would you respond to the reporter’s question? What one thing would you change about Toronto’s transit system?
