Humber Loop Urgent rail repairs January 25 to 29, 2016

From January 25 to 29, TTC will be conducting urgent rail repairs to one of the turn-around tracks at the Humber Loop to ensure a state of good repair. Humber Loop will remain open to customers, streetcars and buses during the track repairs.

While we are making these repairs to the turn-around track, streetcars on the two separate routes will temporarily operate as one route (Neville Park to Long Branch, both ways). At the Humber Loop, customers will not be required to transfer and can remain on board the streetcar they began their trip. Operators will switch vehicles between the two routes.

As of January 3, 2016, the Humber Loop operates two streetcar routes:

501 Neville Park-Humber branch operates at all times, seven days a week.
501 Long Branch-Humber branch operates at all times, seven days a week.

Customers currently transfer streetcars to continue their trip in either direction.

TTC service (5 a.m. on Monday, January 25 until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, January 29)

501/301 Queen – Customers on board streetcars will not be required to transfer between streetcars at Humber Loop during the track repairs.
66A Prince Edward – Buses on this route will not be affected by the track work and will continue to operate inside the loop.
Customer Service staff will be available at the loop.
