SETAC’s first full year has been a busy one. What have we been up to?
SETAC set up information tables at the following community events and public meetings in order to increase awareness of timely transit issues, service changes, and to let residents now that SETAC is a voice for their transit-related concerns and interests:
- Ward 6 Candidates Transit Debate, October 2014
- Culture Days, September 2014
- Transit Awareness & Report Card Flyering at Kipling Station for May 2014 Provincial Election
- South Etobicoke Youth Assembly (SEYA) Meeting, April 2014
SETAC has also been involved in transit-related activities in South Etobicoke:
- Attended the February 2014 Transit Town Hall
- At November 17, 2013 South Etobicoke Transportation Forum, out of which SETAC was formed, Mitch Stambler, TTC Head of Service Planning spoke to residents of South Etobicoke about TTC service in the area
- 501 Queen rider survey of transport modes, by Lakeshore Planning Council, November 2013
